Position SummaryThe Civil Designer will support residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional land development projects by preparing design plans, technical drawings, and project exhibits. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong AutoCAD experience and a solid understanding of site development principles.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare site layout and land development plans for a variety of project types.
- Design utility systems including storm drainage, water, sewer, and dry utility/conduit systems.
- Perform site grading design with consideration for ADA compliance requirements.
- Create technical exhibits, diagrams, and visual presentations to support project deliverables.
- Assist with the preparation of design specifications and construction documents.
- Coordinate project tasks to ensure designs meet established project criteria and timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.
- 1–3 years of experience in civil engineering design, site development, or land use permitting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with standard engineering and design software platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and technical design skills.
- Experience with Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with Micro Station.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
