Aviation Data Analyst

Job Summary

Reviews aviation-related information to assist in decisions about flight routes, spending practices, employee efficiency, safety, aviation regulations (including national security) and other topics. Uses data to make predictions and give estimations related to all aspects of aviation. Performs operational analysis and develop concept of operations. Analyzes Architecture/overall systems design, concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.

Perform data‑driven assessments to include alternative courses of action when one or more interdependent projects experience a delay, and opportunities for new technology insertions. Provide technical assistance in strategic planning, research and development, operations research, systems engineering, and briefing development support. Additionally, tasks will include the preparation and development of various documents and briefings.

Position may require firsthand support for Business Process Re‑engineering (BPR) to include development of As‑Is Analysis, To‑Be Analysis, and Alternatives Analysis, to make recommendations as to improving existing processes and procedures for organizations within and related to the BNATCS RSR Program.

• Bachelor's degree and fifteen (15) years of related experience;
  Master's degree and thirteen (13) years of related experience.
• Five years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. Equivalent aviation data analyst experience in the U.S. Military or international control environment is acceptable.
• Experience in aviation‑related data and using it to make predictions, give estimates and perform assessments.
• Experience with Business Process Re‑engineering.

Target salary range $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
