DAS Service Technician

Piper Companies is looking for a
DAS Service Technician
to join a system integrator in the
Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD area
.

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of RF principles, DAS architecture and signal distribution
• Leads troubleshooting of complex or critical DAS incidents involving multiple system components or technologies
• Performs advanced fault isolation across head-end equipment, RF source equipment, remote units, fiber distribution, passive infrastructure, antennas and supporting network components
• Performs advanced RF testing and interprets measurements relating to signal strength, gain, noise, interference, uplink and downlink performance
• Uses spectrum analyzers, cable and antenna analyzers, PIM test equipment, fiber test equipment and other advanced diagnostic tools where required

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Extensive DAS, RF, wireless or telecommunications service experience
• Advanced understanding of fiber, coaxial, RF and network-connected system components
• Experience with advanced RF testing, system analysis and fault isolation
• Certifications relating to RF, DAS, fiber optics or wireless infrastructure are desirable

• $120,000 - $140,000 (based on experience)
