Overview
The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) is an entry‑level advisory role that requires completion of Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series7, and Series
66 licensing. Successful completion of the training and license requirements leads to progression into the FSA II role with expanded responsibilities and greater client portfolio ownership.
- Acquire, build, and manage a client portfolio, including small business owners and higher net worth individuals.
- Assess clients’ complex financial situations to recommend tailored investment, retirement, and banking solutions.
- Deliver client reviews and presentations with confidence, and provide ongoing guidance that helps clients achieve their financial goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
- Implement a consultative approach to identify client needs and recommend appropriate products and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely client records and progress in the Advisor Management System.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series7, and Series
66 licenses (SIE within 30 days of hire; Series7 and
66 within 120 days). - Self‑disciplined time and capacity management in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience cultivating client relationships and recommending solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; proven results‑driven mindset.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to new technology.
- Current FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of financial services or sales experience.
- Skills in client experience, branding, advisory, investment management, pipeline and referral management, portfolio management, prospecting, business acumen, executive presence, oral communication, and risk management.
- Structured training program covering SIE, Series7, Series
66, and comprehensive advisory skills. - Immediate registration for the SAFE Act; ongoing compliance required.
- Hourly rate: $28.85–$33.65 (based on experience, education, and skill).
- Base salary only – no incentive compensation.
- Eligible for benefits, including paid time off and wellness resources.
- Pay transparency detail available at
- Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required.
- First shift, 40 hours per week.
- Initially based at a financial center; may begin in a phone‑based capacity until a suitable in‑office location is assigned.
- This position requires SAFE Act registration and a background check; failure to maintain registration may result in termination.
