Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing
- Assist with weekly end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Perform and review payroll reconciliations, audit controls, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirements
- Maintain and optimize payroll system configurations (e.g., ADP) to support business needs
- Execute multi-state payroll tax reporting and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop, maintain, and enhance payroll procedures and documentation
- Analyze payroll audit reports and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll-related data flow and reporting
- Incentive Compensation Program Administration
- Administer the Company’s performance-based incentive and bonus programs across all eligible employee groups
- Track participant eligibility, plan enrollment, and changes throughout the performance cycle
- Calculate incentive payouts based on defined metrics, performance outcomes, and plan rules
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for all calculations and distributions
- Assist with drafting, updating, and distributing incentive plan documents, guidelines, and participant communications
- Partner with Accounting and leadership to validate performance results and funding levels
- Reporting and Analysis
- Assist with preparation of recurring and ad-hoc reporting as requested by management
- Assist with delivery of audit requests for 401(k), worker’s compensation, and external financial statement audits
- Evaluate and compare job roles against industry compensation data using salary surveys and market pricing tools
- 5-8 years’ experience in payroll processing, preferably with 500+ employees
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing and tax reporting required
- Experience with prevailing wage (certified pay) compliance and reporting preferred
- Experience with ADP enterprise platform or similar HRIS system
- Experience with incentive compensation administration preferred
