Lab Associate / Laboratory Technician (Contract)

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Shift:

• Tuesday–Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable Lab Associates to support high-volume laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves hands‑on laboratory processing, administrative support, and maintaining lab workflows to ensure timely and accurate results.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in high-throughput laboratory settings such as Lab Corp, Quest Diagnostics, or large hospital laboratories.

• Perform laboratory analyses and testing to support the diagnosis of animal illnesses, injuries, and diseases
• Process specimens, retrieve and release test results, and assist with test research
• Load, prepare, and run samples through analyzers and centrifuges
• Perform sample handling tasks including unbagging, barcoding, transporting, and staging samples
• Manage lab inventory, procure supplies, and maintain stock levels
• Ensure general lab cleanliness and maintenance of lab equipment

• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, safety rules, MSDSs, operating manuals, and technical procedures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• High attention to detail and strong follow‑through
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs and transporting hazardous materials within the facility
