Location: 122 North Langley Road, Suite A & B, Glen Burnie, MD 21060 and 711 Bestage Road, Annapolis MD 21401

Hours: 40 hours per week, Hybrid, 3 Evenings

Nature of Work:

Reports to the Clinical Administrator but also works closely with the Office Supervisor. Assists with all aspects of the clinic’s interactions with Spanish-speaking clients, as well as any and all children, youth and families seen in Adolescent and Family Services (AFS). Duties include clerical tasks assigned by the supervisor, translation assistance for the clinic psychiatrists, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, conducting phone intake interviews with Spanish-speaking clients, and occasional assistance with translating clinic forms and literature.

Assists Spanish-speaking parents with their intake paperwork. Works closely with the clinic’s Spanish-speaking therapist and may involve limited case management and special projects, such as developing a database of resources available to families in Anne Arundel County.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, psychology, education, counseling or related field from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

Two years of professional experience working with youth and families. Must be able to speak, read and write in Spanish.
