• The Echocardiographer performs all Echocardiogram and Doppler studies to ensure accurate readings.
• Assists with all other departmental testing as needed, following departmental protocols.
• Demonstrates knowledge of developmental principles for all age groups, with special emphasis on middle and senior adults.
• Applies these principles when selecting equipment, performing tests, and interacting with clients and their families.

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess at least one year of experience in cardiology testing.
• Must have completed echo courses in M‑Mode, 2‑D, and Doppler Echocardiography.

• Certification Requirements:
  • Must be CPR trained – Healthcare Provider level.
  • ARDMS or CCI certification required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have Epic experience.
  • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
• Other Requirements:
  • Must possess typing skills.
  • Must be able to perform EKGs, treadmill preparation, echocardiograms, and Dopplers.
  • Pediatric echo screening scans.
  • Will be required to travel.
