System Administrator Security Clearance

DCCA, a veteran‑owned IT business with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a System Administrator 3 to support its mission‑critical operations.

Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
• Support dispatch system and hardware issues and remain involved in resolution.
• Configure and manage Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, installing and maintaining OS software, and implementing enhancements for reliability and performance.
• Optimize system operations, assess resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning.

• Experience supporting multiple operating systems such as Linux, UNIX, and/or Windows environments.
• Experience with virtualization, including VMware.
• Ability to create, write, and modify scripts (bash, Perl, shell, Python, etc.).

• Familiarity with networking concepts or background in network administration.

• Bachelor's degree plus 15 years of related experience, or 20 years of experience as a System Administrator without a degree.
• Security+ certification required.
