Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
- Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high‑level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
- Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches and conduct feasibility studies.
- Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develop technical documentation.
- Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
- Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and related problems, issues, or conflicts.
- Hold ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with Systems Engineering.
- Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (within last 5 years).
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) teams, including integration, configuration, installation, etc.
- Front‑line Engineer experience: troubleshooting systems, maintenance of systems, configurations, installation, customer support.
- Knowledge of Jira.
$170,000 - $185,000

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate’s scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.
