Position Overview
Athenix Solutions Group is looking for Network Engineers for a variety of roles to design, install, configure, and maintain complex data networks that are critical to the defense of our nation. Engineers may work individually or as part of a team.
Skills and Experience- Collaborating with technical and application teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend technical networking solutions to support project requirements
- Configuring web services; monitoring status, and making updates as needed
- Designing and building an information technology framework or environment
- Experience documenting network topology and data flows
- Understanding of integrating and configuring physical network devices in complex environments (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
- Configuring DNS and performing routine maintenance and updates in complex network environments
- Design and integrate various functions of network and telecommunications equipment into functional systems
- Familiarity and experience with network security infrastructure and associated standards, procedures, and technologies

Requirements- Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
- Education:
Positions available no matter where you are in your career! - Entry Level – Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, and no or minimal experience (
Note:
even without a degree experience can qualify you for this level with 4 years of relevant experience) - Basic Level – Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, and 4 years of relevant experience
- Mid Level – Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, and 8 years of relevant experience
- Senior Level – Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, and 12 years of relevant experience
Note:
A Master’s degree in information technology or relevant field can be used to substitute for 4 years of experience.
