Overview
At Wyetech, you’ll be at the center of an award‑winning corporate culture, breaking technological barriers and solving real‑world problems for our federal government customers. We are committed to hiring the best of the best, and in return, we offer a world‑class, truly unique employee experience that is rare within our industry. The role is for a motivated and experienced Linux Systems Administrator who will work on a small, diverse team that provides end‑to‑end software, systems, and network engineering services to support Integrated Discovery Operations (IDO).
You will lead, evolve, and maintain a dynamic, modern Dev Ops architecture, often based on open‑source technology and not relying on corporate baselines, to support software developers, phased system upgrades, compliance, and improvements aimed at ensuring continued execution of the IDO mission. The goal is to improve availability and reliability, reduce latency, and optimize performance while maintaining the security posture.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

- Deploy and maintain nginx; use system monitoring platforms such as OpenVAS, Prometheus, and Grafana; and manage SELinux and FIPS.

- Bachelor’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in network administration, security, and system operations.
- Familiarity with Docker, MongoDB, and Elastic Search.
- Experience with Ansible, Git Lab, and Red Hat Satellite.

- Full‑time employees may participate in voluntary benefit plans, including medical plans (some with Health Savings Account), vision and dental, life and AD&D, short and long‑term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical illness insurances, and optional identity theft and legal protection services.
