We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer‑focused Software Application Support Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide hands‑on operational support to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of mission‑critical software applications.

You’ll serve as a key point of contact for technical issues, troubleshooting application errors, supporting users, and working closely with engineering teams to identify and implement solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of Linux environments, including the ability to start, stop, monitor, and diagnose services.

You’ll work with a variety of technologies, including Apache NiFi, Data runner, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, AWS EC2, and CHAP, while helping keep applications running reliably in a mission‑focused environment.

This position also includes after‑hours on‑call support as needed, providing an important layer of operational coverage when issues arise outside of normal business hours.

• Experience maintaining, configuring, and supporting complex software applications in operational environments.
• Strong experience with Linux command‑line tools and systems administration.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, and user resources.
• Experience with technologies such as Docker, MongoDB, Mongo Compass, Elasticsearch, AWS, and Container Yard.
• Ability to proactively monitor application performance, system health, and database status to help maintain maximum availability and uptime.
