Overview
NSI requires a Journeyman Logistics Analyst to support PMA 213. The analyst will provide support to functional logistics personnel, including coordination, activation, implementation, and support of all product support elements and contractual evolutions for United States Navy aircraft Combat Identification (CID) Systems, with a focus on modified and new aircraft CID systems planned to enter service in the near future. The analyst will assist by reviewing and commenting on CID system Logistics Documentation, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and Allowance Parts Lists (APL).
Responsibilities include performing analyses on logistics and maintainability programs with logistics and maintenance control organizations on technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; developing logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; conducting systems acquisition requirements analysis; executing budgetary or financial analysis and control; completing life‑cycle cost analysis and control; standardizing and ensuring compatibility of weapons systems hardware and software;
planning and executing Integrated Product Support (IPS) / Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation; and managing IPS/R&M program analysis. The analyst will also collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information, and develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation related to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems.

EducationBS or BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management.
Allowable SubstitutionAn additional six (6) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Experience- At least three (3) years’ full‑time experience in operational logistics support or maintenance engineering.
- Three (3) years’ experience in technical analysis of operational IPS requirements.
- Three (3) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning.
- Experience demonstrating the ability to perform IPS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems/equipment.
Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
