Job Overview
The Parts Coordinator I is responsible for the oversight of parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory, and reconciliation of all parts at a single location. In addition this position will process Purchase Orders (PO’s) and vendor payment requests, ensuring the right part is purchased from the right vendor and maintaining inventory level to maximize customer uptime.
Core Responsibilities- Primary designee for conducting physical inventory, parts ordering, and receiving
- Processing of Purchase Orders and supplier invoices
- Ensure parts received are properly recorded into inventory
- Oversee parts obsolescence
- Coordinate shipping of warranty and parts returns to vendors
- Maintain parts room organization and cleanliness
- Contribute to cost containment through oversight and adherence to effective parts processes and policies, as well as other functions as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma (H.S.) or GED, required
- Minimum 1 year or more in inventory and parts administration or clerical functions, required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, required
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow‑up practices, required
- Acute attention to detail and data entry accuracy, required
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, required
- Strong interpersonal skills, required
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel – intermediate level preferred
- No travel required
