Aboutthe Role
As a RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care. Your responsibilities will include:
Leads by Example: Serves as a role model and champion for exceptional patient care, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
Clinical Leadership: Oversees the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and establishing standards for clinical practice.
Staff Development: Mentors and coaches nursing staff to improve skills and knowledge, promotes professional growth and development.
Quality Improvement: Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address gaps in care, implements quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Budget Management: Manages unit budgets, ensures efficient use of resources, and identifies opportunities for cost savings.
Communication: Effectively communicates with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care.
Current Maryland RN license
Minimum of 1 years of experience as a registered nurse
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
