Senior Business Development Executive

A rapidly scaling defense and space technology company is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to help accelerate growth across US Government and commercial aerospace customers.

The company is seeking a commercially driven growth professional to help expand its presence across the defense and national security community, develop strategic customer relationships, generate new business opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organization.

This role would suit someone who enjoys building, thrives in a lean environment, and wants to play a visible role in the growth of an innovative technology company.

• Grow strategic customer relationships across defense, intelligence, and aerospace organizations.
• Develop new pipeline opportunities and execute account growth plans.
• Drive customer engagement from initial discussions through contract award.
• Collaborate with leadership on market strategy and business development initiatives.
• Support capture activities and proposal development where required.
• Gather customer feedback and translate market needs into actionable insights for product teams.
• Attend industry events and maintain a strong presence within the defense and space community.
• Deliver accurate revenue forecasting and opportunity management.

• Proven success selling or developing business within defense, aerospace, national security, or government technology markets.
• Strong network across DoD, IC, Space Force, MDA, defense contractors, or adjacent organizations.
• Understanding of complex mission environments and emerging technology adoption.
• Background in space systems, digital twins, autonomy, mission engineering, simulation, software, or advanced technologies preferred.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently.
• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; technical degree preferred.
