Salary Range: $234k-$256k per year with an additional $59k-$64k in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions
The WorkModernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for:
- Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
- Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
- Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
- Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and Git Ops
- Agile development and delivery of software
- Communication and collaboration:
Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 12 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.
- Java, Spring boot or python
- JSON Schema
- Microservice architectures
- CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & Git Ops;
Kubernetes, docker, Ansible - Database :
No
SQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design - OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
- Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber
