Operational Coordination:
Manage the daily flow of customer freight by assigning workloads to drivers, monitoring shipments in real-time, and ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries.;
Safety & Compliance:
Monitor driver performance and Hours of Service to prevent DOT violations, while enforcing company safety policies across dispatch operations.;
Proactive Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or service delays, escalating issues when necessary and maintaining professional communication with customers regarding impacts.; HR & Administrative Support:
Assist the General Manager with driver recruitment, including placing job ads and managing the onboarding process.;
Systems & Documentation:
Maintain accurate, near real-time data entry and documentation including fuel tickets and driver logsusing Motive, Crown, and Outlook.
