We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Driver / Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials, operating equipment, and supporting field crews when not driving. This is a high pressure fast pace job. Loading and unloading in all weather. This is a hands‑on position—not just driving. You will be an essential part of daily operations.

This is not a slow paced position. For production and to service the crews. Pick up from warehouses and drop off to residences. Multiple teams multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles (dump trucks, trucks with trailers, etc.)
  • Transport materials, equipment, and tools to and from job sites
  • Load and unload materials (stone, pavers, gravel, etc.)
  • Operate light to heavy equipment (skid steer, mini excavator, etc.)
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
  • Track and log mileage, fuel, and oil changes
  • Ensure all DOT regulations and safety standards are followed
  • Support field crews with labor tasks when needed
  • Maintain clean and organized trucks and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator / Coordinadora de Suministros y Logística ENGLISH POSITION PURPOSE The CDL Driver / Yard & Logistics Technician is responsible for safely and reliably moving materials, equipment, tools, and supplies between vendors, the Moore Stone yard, and company jobsites. This is not simply a truck-driving position. This employee is an important part of Moore Stone's construction operation.

Our crews depend on this position to make sure the right materials and equipment arrive at the right location at the right time. THE MISSION Keep the crews moving. The goal is to prevent lost production time caused by missing materials, equipment, tools, or poor logistics. The Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator plans and coordinates logistics. The CDL Driver / Yard & Logistics Technician executes that plan safely, accurately, and reliably.

PRIMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • CDL Driving Safely operate assigned company vehicles. Follow all applicable DOT and company safety requirements. Perform required vehicle inspections. Report vehicle problems immediately. Maintain a safe driving record. Protect company vehicles and equipment. Keep assigned vehicles clean and organized. Complete required driving documentation.
  • Material Pickups Before leaving for a pickup, verify:
    Vendor Material Quantity Pickup location Delivery location Job/crew receiving the material At the vendor:
    Confirm the order before leaving. Verify quantities. Inspect materials for obvious damage or errors. Communicate discrepancies immediately. Obtain receipts or required documentation. Never knowingly deliver the wrong material because "that's what the vendor gave me." Verify before leaving whenever reasonably possible.
  • Jobsite Deliveries Deliver materials to the correct project. Communicate with the appropriate foreman. Place materials where directed when safe and practical. Avoid unnecessarily interrupting crew production. Communicate delays immediately. Confirm critical deliveries have been completed.
  • Equipment Transportation Responsibilities may include transporting:
    Trailers Skid steers Small construction equipment Scaffolding Tools Masonry equipment Other company equipment All equipment must be properly secured before transportation.
  • Yard Responsibilities The yard is part of your responsibility.

    Duties include:

    Keep designated areas organized. Properly store returned materials. Stage materials for upcoming projects. Help load and unload trucks. Report damaged equipment. Report low inventory. Keep driving and loading areas safe. Help track materials entering and leaving the yard. Maintain basic organization of company equipment and supplies. Do not simply drop materials in the yard and leave them for someone else to organize.
  • Logistics Coordination Work directly with the Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating upcoming requirements. The Driver is responsible for executing assigned pickups, deliveries, returns, and equipment movements. If the plan cannot be completed:
    Communicate immediately. Do not wait until the end of the day to report that an important delivery was not completed.
  • Crew Support The goal is to keep field crews working. When supporting crews:
    Be responsive. Be respectful. Verify what they need. Communicate changes. Avoid unnecessary delays. Treat foremen professionally. Never create confusion by
