Project Manager/ Estimator - Heavy Civil

They are a family‑run heavy civil general contractor based in Glen Carbon, Illinois, with over 50 years of experience in heavy highway, road and bridge construction, utility work, demolition, and earthwork. The company employs more than 100 full‑time skilled craftsmen and professionals across the field and office.

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year

• Managing heavy civil projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, bid packages, and cost estimates.
• Coordinating with field superintendents, subcontractors, and owners.
• Tracking project budgets, schedules, and change orders.
• Building and maintaining strong client and agency relationships.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction (highway, road, bridge, utility, or earthwork preferred).
• Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
