Job Description:
Guide students toward gaining essential knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
* NYS Italian Certification, 7-12
* FLES extension, a plus
* Fingerprinting clearance required
Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to):
* Understanding of the NYS Learning Standards for World Languages (Modern Languages)
* Meet and teach assigned classes and caseload
* Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and supports all students
* Maintain accurate and complete records to track the progress of individual students
* Communicate with parents regarding the progress of individual students
* Use assessment tools to guide instruction
* Strive by instruction and action to implement the district's philosophy of education, instructional goals and objectives
* Complete other duties as assigned
