Full Time Faculty - Aviation (Grant Funded, Tenure Track, Fall 2026)
College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago. With a 273‑acre campus, we offer nine associate degrees and a wide variety of professional and technical certificates that prepare students for seamless articulation into the baccalaureate programs of our higher education partner institutions.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollege of DuPage seeks a full‑time, grant‑funded, tenure‑track faculty member to teach aviation courses beginning in August 2026. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, assessment, curriculum development, student advising, professional inquiry, committee work, and engagement with instructional technology. Teaching assignments may involve face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended formats during days, evenings, and weekends. Faculty positions are not fully remote.
Qualifications- Master’s degree and/or a combination of education, industry‑equivalent experience required.
- FAA Flight or Ground Instructor certificate and a Remote Pilot certificate with an sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft System) rating required.
- 3+ years of aviation industry and/or teaching experience required.

Transcripts issued outside the United States require a course‑by‑course analysis with an equivalency statement from a certified transcript evaluation service verifying degree equivalency to an accredited U.S. institution.
