Full‑Time ESL Teacher – Hadley Jr. High (2026‑2027)
License Requirements:
Professional Educator's License with ESL Endorsement (Grades K‑9) or Bilingual Endorsement (K‑9) & Foreign Language Spanish Endorsement required
- Assesses newly arriving non‑English speaking students
- Provides evaluation and testing for non‑English speaking and limited proficiency students as required by the state
- Delivers instruction to ESL students appropriate to his/her level as determined by formal assessment
- Collaborates with classroom teachers regarding each student's needs and strategies that can be used to meet those needs
- Provides support and resource information to classroom teachers
- Administers formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and drive instruction
- Establishes and maintains communication with parents
- Maintains accurate, complete and correct records as required by the law and District policy
- Attends staff and student related meetings to meet the needs of the program and students
- Participates in in‑service and teacher training provided by the district
