Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking a Special Olympics Intramurals(Timesheet $40 per hour)(2 Positions)

Responsibilities:

• Lead practices and skill development for student-athletes
• Promote inclusion, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive environment
• Ensure student safety and provide supervision during practices and events
• Communicate with families and coordinate with Special Olympics staff
• Attend and support athletes at Special Olympics competitions and activities

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education and athletics
• Ability to follow Special Olympics guidelines and school policies
• Coaching or teaching experience preferred, but not required
