Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesAdjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face‑to‑face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required QualificationsRadiography courses are taught in person at the College of DuPage main campus in Glen Ellyn. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include teaching assignments during days, evenings, and weekends. Most Radiography courses are only taught during the day between the hours 7:30 am–4:30 pm.
Education- Minimum of associate's degree required, bachelor degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years recent post‑certification nuclear medicine technology required.
- Must be a nuclear medicine technologist that is knowledgeable of current nuclear medicine technology: general, cardiology, therapy, and PET/CT and educational methodology.
- Must hold certification and registration in nuclear medicine technology from a national certification board; ARRT(N) or CNMT.
- Must hold licensure through IEMA to handle radioactive materials.
Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online is required.
These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
A pre‑employment background check at the Colleges' expense is required.
