Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Glen Ellyn, IL area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can occur in the students' homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam. Most of our students still prefer in-person lessons, so local instructors who can host students or travel to students in the Glen Ellyn, IL area are needed.

• Provide private music instruction (voice) to students on a flexible schedule.
• Create and implement curriculum and lesson plans.
• Travel to students’ homes or host lessons in your own space; webcam lessons as needed.
• Communicate effectively with our office and maintain timely attendance.
• Deliver engaging, accessible lessons to a range of ages and skill levels.
• Contribute to marketing and student recruitment support as part of the team.

• Formal music training is not mandatory, but one of the following is required: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
• Great with kids, organized, punctual, and good communication skills.

Independent contractor arrangement. Pay rate: $20-$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule and plan your own curriculum. The company handles advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to bring in students so you can focus on teaching.

Lessons may be conducted in the student’s home, at your home, in a studio, or via webcam. Webcam lessons are a smaller portion of the student base; in-person lessons are preferred when possible. The role requires local availability in the Glen Ellyn, IL area.
