Adjunct Faculty, A.D.N. Nursing — FA26
College of DuPage is committed to teaching and learning with a focus on multicultural success. We invite adjunct faculty members to teach the A.D.N. Nursing program, working with students of diverse learning abilities. Flexible teaching schedules may include evenings and weekends.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Plan and deliver course instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings across various delivery modes (face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, blended).
- Evaluate students and submit required paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Support student success in a multicultural environment.
- Education
:
Minimum of a Master’s degree in the content area, or a Master’s degree plus 18 semester hours of graduate credit in the discipline of instruction. - Experience
:
Minimum of two years full‑time work as a registered nurse. Teaching in a clinical setting is preferred. - Licenses and Certifications
:
Must be a licensed registered nurse in Illinois.
Ability to teach remotely with technology is preferred. Access to a personal computer capable of online instruction is required.
CompensationPositions are paid by stipend for course assignments.
Background CheckA pre‑employment background check, at the College’s expense, is required.
