Position Summary:
The qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities necessary to support the area to which they are assigned. Knowledge and skills include technology literacy with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc. Associates degree or beyond in Child Care, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or an appropriate related field. Aide approval license from R.O.E. or valid IL Teaching Certificate. Certified in first aid/CPR from an approved program.
May be completed after hire. Technology literacy
- Ability to accurately inventory and order supplies needed for day-to-day operations. Maintain a safe, and orderly, environment. Teach preschool lessons Supervise, evaluate and assist high school students in the preschool environment. Provide written and oral communication with parents. Ability to thrive in a self-directed position. Strong communication and decision-making skills.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, operate duplicating machines and computer equipment;

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, the ability to withstand long-term use of video display terminals (VDT) is required. The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds such as reference books.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The pace of work tasks would be considered as fast. Work is usually conducted at one job site, however, on occasion, this employee will be required to attend meetings, conferences, or workshops and events at other sites as assigned.
