Full Time Faculty - Industrial Maintenance (Tenure Track, Fall 2026)
The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. We are seeking a full‑time, tenure‑track faculty member to teach Industrial Maintenance courses starting in August 2026. Candidates should have industrial maintenance experience, mentoring experience, instrumentation experience, PLC troubleshooting experience, strong mechanical skills, fluid power experience, and general maintenance knowledge. They must be able to work with industry and develop a lab environment for our industrial maintenance community.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrimary duties include classroom instruction, assessment, curriculum development, advising students, professional inquiry, committee work, and engaging with instructional technology. Teaching assignments may include various delivery modes such as face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, and blended formats during days, evenings, and weekends. Positions may not be fully remote.
Qualifications- Associate’s Degree required along with the following experience: teaching experience in higher education preferred; instrumentation maintenance experience; PLC troubleshooting experience; mechanical maintenance experience; packaging maintenance experience; industrial maintenance experience
