Substitute Teacher Building Glenbard(s) East, North, South, West, Directions, Transition South and Transition North Term:
Academic School Year License Preferred:
Valid PEL or SUB License (must be registered in DuPage County Region 19)

Position Summary:

The qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities necessary to support students and faculty.

Qualifications/Requirements:

PEL, SUB required (registered in DuPage County, Region 19) Knowledge of Google platforms is preferred Ability to thrive in a self directed position Good rapport with adolescents Detail oriented, assist students and follow lesson plans Organizational, clerical, and technical skills Skills to operate various school related equipment, Smart Boards, iPads, DVD players Skills in both written and verbal communication

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a substitute to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, operate duplicating machines and computer equipment; reach with hands and arms;

and will frequently repeat actions with the same hand, arm, or finger motion such as when typing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, the ability to withstand long-term use of video display terminals (VDT) is required. The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds such as reference books.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The pace of work tasks would be considered as fast.
