Adjunct Faculty, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology (MRIT) – FA26
College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty members to teach Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology. Our faculty are committed to facilitate and support student success in a multicultural environment, meeting the educational needs of our diverse student body. The role offers flexible teaching assignments that may include days, evenings, and weekends.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdjunct faculty instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, and may conduct courses in various delivery modes (face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended). Responsibilities also include student evaluation and timely, accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required Qualifications Education- Minimum of an Associate of Applied Science or equivalent in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Two years full‑time experience or equivalent as a magnetic resonance imaging technologist.
- Experience working directly with students in a clinical setting or prior teaching experience preferred.
- A current ARRT certification or equivalent.
- A current IEMA licensure as required.
Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
A pre‑employment background check at the College of DuPage expense is required.
