The Financial Representative role is a full-time, on-site position located in Aurora, IL. The individual in this role will meet with clients to assess their financial needs, provide financial education, and recommend suitable products and services aligned with their goals. Daily responsibilities include developing customized financial plans, explaining insurance and investment options, and assisting clients with retirement and long-term financial strategies.
The Financial Representative will also follow up with clients, maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory requirements, and collaborate with colleagues to support branch and company objectives. This role may also involve building a client base through networking, referrals, and community outreach.
- Solid knowledge of Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to help clients create comprehensive strategies for short- and long-term goals.
- Understanding of Finance and Investments to explain products such as mutual funds, annuities, and managed investments in clear, accessible terms.
- Experience or strong interest in Insurance, particularly term life insurance, to support clients in protecting their families and assets.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and build long-term client relationships.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to compliant, client-focused service.
- Ability to work on-site in Aurora, IL, manage a schedule that may include evenings or weekends, and meet performance and sales goals.
- Relevant licenses (or willingness to obtain them), such as state life insurance license and applicable securities registrations, as required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is beneficial but not required; prior experience in financial services, sales, or customer service is a plus.
