** About the Role
** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Server Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade VMware environments, including vSphere 8.x and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9. This role requires deep expertise in virtualization, automation, and cloud integration within mission-critical environments.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Architect, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere 8.x clusters and VCF 9 environments.
* Perform lifecycle management, patching, and upgrades for ESXi hosts, vCenter, and VCF components.
* Configure and optimize Aria Operations for performance and resiliency.
* Configure and optimize Zerto for performance and resiliency.
* Implement disaster recovery strategies using VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
* Automate provisioning and configuration tasks using Power

CLI, Power Shell, vRealize Automation, etc.
* Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and compliance.
* Collaborate with network, storage, and security teams for integrated solutions.
* Document designs, processes, and operational procedures.
* On-call and off-hours work, as required.
** Required Qualifications
*** 6 years of experience in server engineering and virtualization.
* Expert-level knowledge of VMware vSphere 8.x and VCF 9 architecture.
* Hands-on experience with Aria Operations.
* Strong scripting skills (Power

CLI, Power Shell, or similar).
* Familiarity with enterprise storage, networking, and security best practices.
* A strong understanding of DNS & DHCP.
* A good understanding of general networking. IP, subnet mask, gateway, firewall, load balancer, etc.
* A good understanding of how storage works with a VMware environment. LUNs, WWN, SAN, HBAs, storage policies, etc.
** Preferred Skills
*** Experience with hybrid cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
