Position
Registered Nurse - Mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit
LocationElmhurst Main Hospital Campus
HoursFull-Time, 36 hours/week, with rotating shifts and holiday schedule
Responsibilities include- Providing age-appropriate bedside and virtual nursing care
- Monitoring, communicating patient status, and acting as a resource for bedside RNs
- Performing medication reconciliation, procedure checklists, and discharge planning
- Educating patients and families, documenting interactions in EPIC
- Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification
- ACLS and NIHSS within 6 months of start
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred), with a requirement to obtain a BSN within five years if holding an ADN
- 1+ year inpatient nursing experience preferred
Knowledge of patient needs, effective communication, and teamwork
