Business Development Coordinator

Rate is looking for a dedicated and proactive Business Development Coordinator to join our team. This role is a great fit for someone with a passion for customer service, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Client and Partner Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact, building and maintaining positive, professional relationships with clients, real estate agents, and attorneys. Call referral partners, new and existing, to set up appointments and discuss working together.
  • Administrative & Operational Support: Answer phone calls and text messages, addressing inquiries from clients and real estate agents. Maintain team calendars and assist with general office duties.
  • Marketing & Communication: Create and distribute daily emails for new listings and open house flyers to agents. Support lead generation efforts by collaborating with the marketing department on materials and flyers. Manage and distribute monthly office newsletters.
  • Data & System Management: Perform data entry and maintain accurate client contact information. Utilize Encompass for data entry and to support the loan process. Pull and create marketing reports as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in sales within the mortgage and/or real estate industry is preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Google Docs, Canva, and Excel is required. Familiarity and comfort with social media platforms. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Plan events for the team, new and existing referral partners.
  • Social Media: post videos representing the team and supporting our referral partners efforts.
  • Attributes: A strong commitment to customer service and a proactive, positive attitude. The ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a relatively complex and regulated underwriting process.
