Dreisilker Electric Motors Inc. is seeking an Electrical Motor Mechanic to repair, rebuild, and test AC/DC motors and related equipment for industrial, commercial, and HVAC customers. In this hands-on, shop-based role, you will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures, perform disassembly, cleaning, bearing replacement, balancing, and basic rewinding, and verify performance on test equipment. You'll follow strict safety and quality standards while collaborating with a skilled, tight-knit team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in AC/DC motors and related equipment
  • Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble motors, including bearing and seal replacement
  • Perform basic motor rewinding, insulation checks, and component replacement
  • Use test equipment to verify performance, balance, and insulation integrity
  • Follow safety, lockout-tagout, and quality standards in a busy shop environment
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate repair records
  • Support occasional field service work at industrial or commercial customer sites
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
  • Assist in identifying energy-efficient repair or replacement options for customers
