Position Overview
At PNC, we value our employees as our greatest differentiator. As a Lead Teller within PNC’s Retail Bank organization, you will be based in Glenarden, Maryland.
Job Description- Coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Process a variety of customer interactions, educate customers on alternatives available, and identify banking opportunities during the interaction and refer as appropriate.
- Lead through meaningful conversations with customers, making appropriate referrals to branch staff.
- Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs, educating customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
- Demonstrate clear communication skills, transaction handling, and problem resolution processes. Assist the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of values and practices that prioritize customer needs and satisfaction in all business decisions.
- Managing Risk – Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with business objectives and activities to support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and individual performance.
