Role Overview:
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing existing Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) accounts while driving territory growth through new business prospects in the South region.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and expand relationships with current customers to drive revenue and profit growth.
- Acquire new customers through prospecting, sales calls, and presentations.
- Manage the entire sales cycle including contracts, proposals, and contract renewals.
- Act as a liaison between customers, field operations, and customer service teams.
- Implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and articulate the company value proposition.
- Conduct territory routing, forecasting, and customer business reviews.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
3+ years in outside sales within manufacturing/industrial markets and 5+ years of overall sales experience. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sciences, Marketing, or Management. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce. - Domain Knowledge:
Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and DEA regulatory environments preferred. - Travel:
Ability to travel up to 50% by car for customer meetings.
