We have partnered with a growing manufacturer and distributor of raw materials used in both consumer and industrial markets that is making a reputation for their operational focus, strong customer relationships, and commitment to reliable, high-quality supply.
Growing 10%+ YoY, they are looking to further strengthen their global supply base and looking to add a hands‑on Sourcing Manager
. This role owns direct and indirect sourcing
, with a strong focus on international suppliers and import execution into the U.S.
You’ll work closely with supply chain, operations, finance, and overseas partners to drive cost savings
, improve supplier performance
, and ensure uninterrupted material flow across raw materials, MRO, and supplies.
- Lead sourcing across raw materials, MRO and indirect spend categories
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and supply continuity
- Manage international suppliers and support compliant, cost‑effective imports into the U.S.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships using performance metrics and scorecards
- Partner with supply chain, operations, finance, logistics, and customs brokers to resolve issues and prevent disruptions
- Identify alternate sources and mitigate supply risk
- Maintain accurate supplier master data to support ERP, planning, and import compliance
- Actively use ERP systems to support sourcing decisions and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sourcing experience (ideally pigments, chemicals, colorants, dyes, additives, etc.) with international supplier exposure
- Experience sourcing from regions such as India, China, South Korea or other global markets
- Working knowledge of import processes, customs clearance, and international freight
- ERP experience and comfort managing transactional detail
- Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills
- Compensation: $110 - $120K + bonus.
