We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the development of advanced automation and robotic equipment used in high-volume manufacturing environments. This role plays a key part in bringing complex automation systems from concept through installation and startup.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with project managers and design engineers to develop electrical designs for custom industrial automation equipment
  • Evaluate and select industrial control system hardware to meet machine and process requirements
  • Create detailed electrical and pneumatic schematics and bills of materials using EPLAN Electric P8
  • Design custom industrial control panels and oversee panel build, assembly, and testing
  • Support machine assembly and debug activities by guiding electrical technicians and troubleshooting issues
  • Assist with equipment installation and startup at manufacturing facilities
  • Contribute to infrastructure planning and system integration within factory environments
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design for custom automation
  • Strong proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8 or AutoCAD Electrical
  • Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals including three-phase power distribution
  • Knowledge of industrial networking protocols
  • Hands-on experience with electrical and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, servomotors, and industrial automation hardware
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
