Production Tech

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in electrical control equipment, is seeking a dedicated Production Tech to join their team. As a Production Tech, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting assembly and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Assemble electrical panel boards and switchboards according to customer specifications using hand and power tools.

+ Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with relevant codes.

+ Perform electrical wiring assembly utilizing tools such as wire strippers and pliers.

+ Maintain progress on assigned tasks, communicate any issues or shortages, and prepare products for shipment.

+ Participate in Lean initiatives by suggesting improvements related to quality, safety, and efficiency.

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum of one year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools.

+ Ability to work within a 50-mile radius of Glendale Heights, IL (active-duty military candidates exempt).

+ Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

+ Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and work overtime as required.

+ Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
