CNC Lathe Machinist (Setup & Operate)

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Machinist to work independently on 1st or 2nd shift.

Location:

Glendale Heights, IL. Salary ranges from $30 to $38 per hour.

• $30–$38 per hour depending on experience
• 1st and 2nd shift availability
• Stable, long‑term production programs
• Clean, organized machining environment

• Opportunity to work on multi‑axis equipment with live tooling

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (multi‑axis, live tooling preferred)
• Load programs and make offsets as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and first‑article inspection data
• Perform first‑article inspections and in‑process checks
• Troubleshoot tooling, program, and machine issues
• Maintain quality and production standards

• 3+ years CNC lathe setup experience
• Experience with multi‑axis lathes and live tooling preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
• Experience making program edits or conversational programming
• Strong attention to detail and quality
