Position

POSITION: CNC OPERATOR — We are looking for a CNC Operator to support daily production and ensure quality standards are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a minimum of 2 machines while maintaining high efficiency
  • Produce quality parts that meet blueprint specifications
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance checks on machines
  • Remove chips and maintain machine cleanliness
  • Maintain coolant, grease, and lubricating oils
  • Stock machines with raw materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately
  • Measure parts according to specifications
  • Assist with machine setups when needed
  • Make machine adjustments as required
  • Sharpen and change tools as needed
  • Use SPC (Statistical Process Control) as required
  • Complete daily production tickets accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Adjust machine offsets and tooling as required
  • Change tooling, inserts, and offsets; change thread rolls and reinstall attachments
  • Assist with machine adjustments and troubleshooting
Requirements and Skills
  • 2-3 years’ experience operating more than 2 machines, CNC lathes and/or CNC Swiss style machines
  • Able to read and understand blueprints
  • Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers and other measurement devices
  • Capable of lifting 35-40 lbs
  • Knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machines
  • Able to make adjustments on the machine
  • Good communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Good technical and mathematical skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

    Monday – Friday; overtime available
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm or 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
  • Salary range: $20-27/hr
