The Village of Glendale Heights seeks a skilled Mechanic for the Fleets Division within the Public Works Department. You will maintain municipal vehicles and equipment, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance using a range of diagnostic tools.
Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics, hydraulics, and diesel/gas engines is expected; experience with heavy trucks (International, Peterbilt) is a plus. CDL certification within 6 months is required.
