School Psychologist in Glendale Heights, IL

Make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in a PreK-8 setting by supporting their academic, social, and emotional success. A full-time, onsite contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist with availability to work 35-37.5 hours per week during the  school year. The specific grade level assignment and caseload will be determined based on district needs, so adaptability and a readiness to serve across the PreK-8 spectrum are essential.

Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish are especially encouraged to apply as the district serves a diverse student population.

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (required)
• Previous experience in K-8 or PreK-8 educational settings preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Comfortable adapting to any grade level as assigned
• Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills

• Conduct psycho educational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning
• Provide direct and indirect services to support academic and behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student well-being
• Assist in crisis intervention, prevention, and educational programming
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student plans
• Support district-wide initiatives for positive student outcomes
