Software Engineer (.NET

With decades of success and recent strategic growth through acquisition, the company is investing heavily in modernizing its technology platform and expanding its digital capabilities.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll directly influence systems that drive revenue and support a rapidly evolving ecommerce business.

• Design, build, and enhance a core ecommerce application
• Support and evolve existing systems while contributing to modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Conduct technical assessments and recommend best-fit architectures and technologies
• Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes
• Lead development efforts end-to-end, ensuring high-quality delivery and performance
• Contribute to testing, QA standards, and deployment processes
• 5+ years of hands-on development with ASP.NET (C#,  preferred)
• Strong experience with:
• .NET Framework (4.8+)
• SQL Server / T-SQL
• IIS and Windows Server environments
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST, JSON, XML)
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML)
• Background in responsive/mobile web development
• Familiarity with source control (Git) and modern development tools (Visual Studio)
• Strong understanding of web architecture, performance, and security
• Ecommerce platform experience
• Integrations with ERP/CRM platforms (Salesforce, Net Suite, Workday, etc.)
• Shipping/logistics systems (UPS, Fed Ex)
• Woo Commerce or similar platforms
• Preferred:
  Chicago-area candidates (easy access to Glendale Heights office)
• Open to fully remote candidates within the U.S.
• Occasional onsite collaboration is a plus, but not required
• Base Salary: $110K – $150K (commensurate with experience)
• Bonus: 2% – 8% annually based on individual and company performance
