- Equipment Operation:
Safely operate various powered industrial trucks (e.g., Sit-down, Stand-up, Reach Truck, or Cherry Picker) to move merchandise throughout the warehouse. - Loading & Unloading:
Efficiently load outbound trailers and unload inbound shipments, ensuring all freight is handled with care to prevent damage. - Inventory Control:
Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track, pick, put-away, and manage inventory accurately. - Staging & Prep:
Palletize, shrink-wrap, and stage freight in designated areas for shipping or storage. - Safety & Compliance:
Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections. Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies. - Facility Maintenance:
Keep your workspace, aisles, and staging areas clean and organized, contributing to a safe working environment.
- Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a forklift in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment. - Certification:
Current forklift certification is highly preferred (company recertification/training will be provided). - Technical
Skills:
Experience using RF scanners and basic familiarity with inventory control software. - Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted. Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods. - Work Ethic:
Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of teamwork. - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
