We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience in general accounting. This role is responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager in preparing financial statements, reviewing and reconciling balance‑sheet accounts, and assisting with year‑end review and financial close duties.
Responsibilities- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Assist with external review by analyzing general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
- Comply with legal requirements to avoid legal challenges.
- Keep information confidential to protect the organization’s value.
- Record and remit sales tax from customers.
- Cross‑train multiple functions within the Accounting Department as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role; sales tax experience is a plus.
- Strong research skills, thoroughness, corporate finance knowledge, and deadline‑oriented.
- Analytical – attention to detail and precise data handling.
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Salary Information: $75,000–$80,000 per year.
