Marketing Coordinator & Executive Assistant
Location: Westgate (Glendale, AZ), fully in person.
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
Compensation: $62,000 to $70,000 base, plus a performance bonus tied to a weekly scorecard. On-target total compensation of $90,000+/year for a strong performer.
Schedule: Roughly 10am to 6pm, not a standard 9-to-5, with occasional evenings and weekends for scheduled client events, and filming days.
About the OpportunityPicture this: a founder-led real estate team with a real brand, a loyal client base, and a full suite of custom AI tools already built, just waiting for someone sharp enough to run them. That's the seat we're filling. Calza Co is a growing real estate team based at Westgate in Glendale, serving Phoenix's West Valley, including Surprise, Waddell, Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Buckeye, Glendale, and Peoria.
Founder Julie Calza has done the hard part: she built the systems. She needs someone to operate them day to day so she can spend more of her time growing the business. Our core values are Loyalty, Honor, and Client First, and we mean all three.
This is a role that splits about 70 to 80% marketing and content, running the social presence and the AI content engine that already exists, and 20 to 30% executive support, keeping Julie's calendar, inbox, and day-to-day running smoothly. It is also a role with both office work and work out in the field. If you want a role where creative ownership and real behind-the-scenes trust both matter, this is built for exactly that.
We'll also be upfront about the flip side, because we'd rather you know it now than discover it later. This is a high-accountability seat: results are tracked on a weekly scorecard, a meaningful part of compensation is tied to it, and feedback is direct, we name the issue plainly and show you the corrected version, no softening. If you're looking for something loosely supervised, this isn't it.
If you want real ownership, clear expectations, and a place to build an actual career, keep reading.
One more thing to read carefully: this role does not run on doing the same things every day. Your workdays will look different, and you will not always know what the day will hold in advance. Some days you'll know your plan. Others, you'll be asked mid-day to drop what you're doing and go handle something, and an open calendar tomorrow doesn't mean tomorrow is a desk day.
If that sounds stressful rather than energizing, this isn't the right fit.
What You'll Do
Marketing & Content (the bigger piece of the role)- Own the team's social media presence (Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, Google Business Profile, Nextdoor, blog, and You Tube scheduling) against a consistent weekly posting cadence
- Capture candid photo and video content of Julie and the team, on your own initiative, not on direction, because you see everyday moments as content before anyone points them out
- Operate an existing suite of custom AI content tools, reviewing everything critically before it goes out so it never sounds robotic
- Build listing flyers, run AI-assisted listing descriptions and virtual staging, and keep the client community page active
- Bring a weekly list of content ideas to Julie, and know when something is worth acting on in real time instead of waiting
- Own Julie's calendar: scheduling, protecting her focus time, resolving conflicts, and declining on her behalf when it makes sense
- Manage her inbox so nothing important gets buried, surfacing vendor issues, billing, and opportunities that actually need her eyes
- Run her daily task board and clear what you can, so what's left genuinely requires her judgment
- Make sure meeting notes get taken, distributed, and turned into tracked action items, including hers
- Handle travel, conference registration, and merch orders, plus day-to-day tech support and vendor coordination that keeps things running
- Coordinate smaller client gatherings and support larger team events, plus team and vendor gifting
- Run work-related errands: lunch and coffee runs, store returns, picking up packages, grabbing supplies. It is always tied to the business, but the list is part of the job
- Research and vet opportunities like podcasts, sponsor ships, and award nominations, and bring recommendations forward
